Giving back to our community
Kung Fu Brisbane IWKA aims to provide our community with positive social activities and experiences through the delivery of Martial Arts Programs targeting education, participation and sports & health. We use the international IWKA brand (Internal Wisdom and Knowledge Association formerly known as International Wing Tjun Kung Fu Association) to drive awareness and conversations, whilst giving back to the community.
You’ll find a few partners we have worked with below and we are excited to work with them again in the future!

Kung Fu Brisbane IWKA representing China
on Lourdes Hill College International Day
Kung Fu Brisbane IWKA and Girls College Lourdes Hill College partnered up to deliver a Kung Fu demo to their students. Lourdes Hill aims to empower their students through their faith, to connect to the world and build optimism, confidence and better futures for their students. The values of Kung Fu Brisbane IWKA aligned perfectly with the Girls College; discipline, perseverance, respect and self-confidence.
Surprising the Kids in Lady Cilento and Children's Hospital
with an energetic Kung Fu Workshop!
We visited the Starlight Express Room with our team of instructors to provide the kids with an unforgettable introduction to our IWKA Kung Fu Kids programs. They learned how to kick, punch, move smoothly over obstacles and in the meantime have lots and lots of fun.
The Starlight Express Rooms are a medical free haven for sick kids and their families seeking a welcome break from the relentless cycle of medical treatments and procedures. It's the place where the kids and their parents get down to the serious business of having fun and we were so grateful to be able to be part of all that.
